I'm doing my masters thesis about modelling of ecohydrological processes in granitic hillslopes at the Sabie River in Kruger National Park from beginning of August to mid December. I'm writing this blog to keep family and friends up to date. My research is supervised by Simon Lorentz and Eddie Riddell from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I'm living in a little tent on the researchers camp site in Skukuza, KNP - so I'm basically outdoors 24/7. Good stuff!!!

Tenele in the field
This Saturday Tenele came to the filed with me to see what I'm actually doing all day long... we had a good time not working too hard ;)
Hey Sister, don´t mess up Hannes` measurements by finding an error ;) haha, how are you? i heard you have sour muscles from climbing? Oh yes, i envy you for your christmas holiday plans!!! A big hug! Schnuckie
Ha schwester, I was teaching Hannes a thing or two about hydrology*rolling eyes* except I'm a Sesselpfurtzender hydrologist. Yes yes, I am enjoying climbing and the sore muscles as well-all feels good..hehe. Envy us then put both your bums on the next flight to S.A. Just imagine-wo'd be bliss! Hugs back! Tenele
